Liberty GB Euro Election Campaign Launch
On 22nd May this year, Liberty GB Chairman Paul Weston, Press Officer Enza Ferreri and Outreach Officer Jack Buckby will be putting themselves up for election in the South East England constituency of the European Parliament.
All three candidates will be standing on a radical anti-Islamisation, anti-immigration, anti-EU platform and – being the fearlessly outspoken individuals they are – intend to say the things that other candidates fear to say. Most importantly, they will be presenting to voters Liberty GB's demand for the complete removal of Islam from Britain and Europe.
Paul, Enza and Jack are determined to shake things up in the South East, and to address the issues that other politicians try to brush under the carpet.
The South East England Constituency
The constituency comprises the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex, and elects 10 MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) by a system of party-list proportional representation. Current South East MEPs include Daniel Hannan (Conservative) and UKIP leader Nigel Farage.
With such high profile figures in the constituency, there should be great opportunities for Paul to go head-to-head with some of them, either on TV or radio, or in public debates around the region.
European Campaign Website
Jack Buckby has set up a dedicated Euro campaign website where you can keep track of events and lend your support. The site includes a blog where Paul Weston will report on progress in the campaign, and a Q&A section, where you can put questions directly to Paul and the other candidates.
Election Deposit: Please Donate!
Our first campaign objective is to raise the election deposit of £5,000 needed for candidates to stand. At the top-right of this page, you'll see a 'Donate' button above a thermometer, which will help keep track of progress towards the £5,000 target.
Please give generously and help Paul, Enza and Jack get the campaign off to a flying start!
