The free world (that wants to remain free) gave a collective sigh of relief on election day when the pro-American, pro-military, pro-life, pro-free market, pro-Israel and pro-democracy candidate became the president-elect of the United States!
Patriots won... you know, us: deplorable, irredeemable, racist..., blah, blah, blah. We pulled the rug out from under the high and lofty who convinced themselves we'd be serving their paltering, frumpy, besom-riding battle-axe.
And we did it all with our vote and the electoral college (thank you, Founders).
The elites, on both sides, were so sure their candidate would set her dumpy pantsuit into the People's House, they had a Newsweek issue with "Madam President" on the cover [top picture]. But alas and alack, it was not to be (thank God).
The pundits and pollsters couldn't have gotten it more wrong. They said he didn't have a ground game, not enough ads, the polls always seemed to punish him. But this man defied them all... he tried something novel today, he went directly to the voters state-by-state and listened to the people, and reflected their concerns and frustrations. He couldn't be bought. He had nothing to gain.
And the people responded in the voting booth.
Our allies feel hopeful, our enemies have taken pause, and free people everywhere are rejoicing, for as the Judeo-Christian scriptures say: "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bears rule, the people mourn." (Psalm 29:2). We've endured eight years of oppression and wickedness, eight years of mourning and oppression.
It's time to rejoice!
A President who loves America is about to enter the People's House. He's got a lot on his plate, but we can tell by the choices for his cabinet, as it always is when conservative principles are applied to government: everybody gets blessed (including the hateful, intolerant Left!).
As Americans, we can breathe again. The jackboot of the Marxist Left has been removed from our collective neck. But that's only for the moment. This is an enemy of freedom that is relentless to destroy any vestige of what is good. So...
Rejoice for a season. Trump is our next President. The elites lost this battle, but remember: be ready to gird your loins once again, the war to protect freedom continues.
Shalom through strength.
